Prof. Dr João Farinha
Dean of the Management School at ISLA Santarém – Polytechnic University, President of the Technical-Scientific Council of the Management School, and Member of the General Council of ISLA Santarém – Polytechnic University. He also heads the Projects Development Office, where he promotes institutional innovation and development.
Prof. Dr Farinha holds a PhD in Management and a Master’s degree in Marketing from Universidade Europeia, and is currently undertaking post-doctoral research in Management, specialising in Leadership and Knowledge Management, at the University of Beira Interior. With over 30 years of academic and professional experience, he serves as both Lecturer and Programme Director for several key programmes, including the Higher Technical Professional Course (TeSP) in Commercial Management and Sales, the Bachelor’s Degree in Business Processes and Operations Management, and two MBA programmes: the MBA in Commercial Management and Marketing, and the MBA in Strategic Thinking Development.
An active researcher, Prof. Dr Farinha collaborates with research units such as GOVCOPP (University of Aveiro) and NECE (University of Beira Interior), and serves on the editorial boards of several esteemed academic journals.
